Each Friday local artists and groups play live on the deck while Darren and Jodie shuck the freshest oysters. The music is varied and the seafood is delicious so come along and check out the vibe.

Mind games
We host a Quiz night on the first and third Thursdays of each month. This is a vibrant and light-hearted occasion with many laughs (and boos when the crowd disagrees with the quiz master.) We have three quiz masters: Terry, Mark, and Glen who take turns to run slightly different formats but there’s usually a picture round, a music round, and lots of general knowledge rounds.

As a warm-up for the quiz, we run a chase the ace competition between 5 pm and 7 pm.
It is free to enter. Just buy a drink to receive a ticket in the draw for a chance to turn over a card.
If you choose the ace of spades, you’ll win the cash amount in the jackpot, which increases every week by $50.
Something for the kids
Lakeside Tavern is a family-friendly venue. We have an enclosed playground accessible from the deck where your kids can play on the pirate ship.
Come for a meal or just coffee and cake, and relax while the kids let off some steam.
